Book: Dad’s Great Advice for Teens

We don’t often include books in our Holiday Gift Guide, but this one is special. It’s called Dad’s Great Advice for Teens: Stuff Every Teen Needs to Know About Parents, Friends, Social Media, Drinking, Dating, Relationships, and Finding Happiness and it’s available on Amazon in eBook/Kindle, Paperback, or Hardcover versions.

I relate to this book, because even before my daughter (now a teenager) was born, her dad said, “I hope she never struggles.” And I answered, “I hope she struggles, and learns to overcome with grace and dignity.” Add to that, I hope she tries things when she still lives at home. Where she’s safe, and I can protect her and help her pick herself up after she falls.

Because, once you get out on your own it’s a whole different world. I swear, I learned everything the hard way. I guess they call it the school of hard knocks. For me, it was my choices that led me down those paths. Once I learned, I spent the rest of my life trying to warn others. It’s like the old Successories parodies called Demotivators which depicts a sinking ship: “Mistakes: it could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.” That pretty much sums it up.

If nothing else, this is a great read and a good place to start talking to your kids about growing up and making grown up decisions. It’ll also help kids build confidence, be productive and make good decisions.

Dad’s Great Advice for Teens will help teens become the best version of themselves they can possibly be. And because all the Great Advice has been researched and gathered by a dad who tested it successfully on his own teens and others, you can trust that it’s for real, and it works.

It’s recommended by some of the most respected teen coaches, and includes stuff that every teen needs to know about friends, social media, drinking, smoking, vaping, dating, sex, parents, peer pressure, dealing with gossip, and being happy.

Dad’s Great Advice for Teens is a great gift for for teenage girls and boys, from middle school students to high school students. It’s the perfect self-help survival and success guide for teens looking to build positive habits and be successful.
